My Husband Paid Off My Debt. Why Does That Still Make Me So Uncomfortable?

Every fall without fail, I get an itch to buy new winter boots. Do I need them? Absolutely not, according to the multiple pairs already in my closet.

 

But there’s something thrilling about new pieces that refresh the rest of your wardrobe and add a little skip to your stroll down the sidewalk. In the past, the amount I spent was between me and my bank account. But now that I’m married, there are more considerations in the mix.
